A festive tour of Keswick town centre

Earlier this week I spent a couple of hours one afternoon in Keswick in the North Lakes and, as always, the atmosphere there was great. I’ve previously written about why you should go shopping in Keswick here.

I found myself drawn to photographing some of the lovely shop windows and Christmas light displays in the town, so for this fun post, I’ll let the photos do the talking as we take a tour of Keswick town to see which were among my favourites…

First up, when I walked past the entrance to the Inn on the Square, I had to take a step back and have another look. It seems that rule number one with Christmas decorations is that you can never have too many Christmas trees – they look lovely and certainly caught my attention!

And if we take a few steps back…

If you’ve enjoyed this tour of some of the things there are to see in Keswick, I hope I will have tempted you to visit this vibrant North Lakes town over the festive break!
